St. James Service Club Sponsors 20th Annual February Food Drive
Throughout the month of February, the St. James Service Club is partnering with Full Shelf to bolster food inventory at the Southport-Oak Island Interchurch Fellowship’s (SOIICF) Food Pantry.
Donations typically decline after the holiday season, making this February collection essential for maintaining local food supplies.
Thank you for your willingness to support our efforts to help food insecure neighbors in Brunswick County.
In honor of the food drive's 20th anniversary, this year's goal is to collect 4,000 unexpired, non-perishable items.
The pantry is in particular need of these food items:
Canned Fruit
Cereal
Hearty Soups (PLEASE NO chicken noodle or tomato)
Hamburger Helper
Canned Vegetables (PLEASE NO green beans or corn)
Boxed Snacks
However, donations of ALL unexpired, non-perishable items are greatly welcomed.

Ways to make a monetary DONATION
Financial donations are an easy and effective way to help. The SOIICF Food Pantry is able to use financial contributions to purchase perishable food such as meat and dairy products as well as items in bulk, providing a cost-effective means to multiply the value of your donation. Any additional amount made as a donation is very much appreciated!
