2025 School Supplies Drive

Let’s Get Brunswick County Ready for Back to SchooL!!

The (second) most wonderful time of the year is fast approaching - Back to School!! That exciting milestone means it's time for the annual St. James School Supplies Drive directly supporting thousands of underprivileged children across Brunswick County.

Hosted by the St. James Service Club, the 2025 School Supplies Drive runs from July 14-26. We need your generous donations via our easy (and secure) online Amazon wish list or our in-person drop off stations.

Each child gets some butterflies before starting a new year with a new teacher and new classmates ... now imagine your family faces the intense challenge of poverty - like more than 25% of families in our county. You might head to school without the most basic supplies ... no backpack, paper, pens/pencils, crayons, etc. - all the things we take for granted. These local families need YOUR help so each child starts the school year on the right path for learning.

The best (and quickest!) path is to simply click this secure link to purchase items from the School Supplies Drive’s Amazon wishlist - these pre-selected items get shipped for free from Amazon directly to our volunteers for sorting and delivery!

If hands-on shopping is preferred, please use any of the convenient drop-off stations open 14-26 July throughout St. James, including each of the Clubs/Gyms as well as the Town Hall.

This worthy cause also welcomes monetary donations via the Service Club’s secure Donation Portal for the School Supplies Drive, hosted by Paypal (Paypal account is NOT required, just click the Debit/Credit card button). Cash or checks (made out to St. James Service Club) can be delivered to 4371 Harbortown Circle SE.

Service Club Membership

It’s Time to Renew (or Join)!

The heat of summer is a reminder that the Service Club is kicking off our annual membership campaign! For just $30 per year for an individual (or $40 for a family), your membership covers all of our behind-the-scenes costs such as website hosting, off-site storage, insurance, and more. These membership fees allow 100% of funds raised through our service projects to be distributed to directly to the Brunswick County non-profits we support.

Please access our secure Membership Portal to complete your registration for this year. When you renew online, please also select the option (click the box) to cover Paypal’s service fee. This extra $1.11 for an individual membership (may seem small), but it quickly adds up to significantly expand the impact of our projects across the county.

If you are already a member, it is time to renew, and THANK YOU!! Because of your support and the generosity of our many sponsors this past year, the St. James Service Club distributed over $140,000 to 31 Brunswick County nonprofits at our annual spring brunch. Take a few minutes to learn more about what they do to get a deeper understanding of your impact across the county.
