Brunswick County Homeless Coalition BCHC's mission is to serve as an advocate for the homeless and those in need by increasing awareness and education of issues, and by exploring, promoting, recruiting, facilitating and providing resources to meet these needs. $5000
Brunswick Family Assistance Helps low income people in Brunswick County with an adequate and nutritious supply of food and resources to sustain them.

Brunswick Literary Council To help increase adult literacy in Brunswick County and help adults obtain their GED and ESL. $5000
Brunswick Partnership for Housing Brunswick Partnership for Housing (BPH) is a local, volunteer, non-profit 503(c)(3) organization. We provide safe transitional housing and a stable living environment for homeless families who seek a permanent place to live, work and raise their families. In addition, we advocate for affordable housing. $8000
Brunswick Search and Rescue We offer search and rescue services to locate lost or missing persons at the request of law enforcement, emergency management, state and national agencies. $2000
Cape Fear Blue Star Mothers Our organization provides support to our active duty service members, veterans, and Gold Star families. We support each other and our children while promoting patriotism. $1000
Carousel Center The Carousel Center supports healing, promotes justice, fosters resilience in children victimized by physical or sexual abuse, and improves our community through education, prevention, and advocacy. $3000
Christian Recovery Center To educate drug and alcohol addicted men about the debilitating effects of their disease and to help them move toward a self sufficient, healthy life.”Purchased Rose House for women. $7500 plus $2600 emergency grant

Computers4Kids Enriches the lives of children interested in technology by providing refurbished computers to children in Brunswick County. $1000
Friends of the Library Southport/Oak Island (FOLSOI) Supports the Mission of the Harper library in Southport and the Barber library on Oak Island. $1000
Hope Abounds It is our commitment and mission to serve the needs of an individual diagnosed with any type of cancer, to provide patients with the services of Advocacy, Education and Navigation while they are enduring active cancer treatment. $1000
Hope Harbor Hope Harbor Home strives to break the cycle of domestic and sexual violence in Brunswick County with safe shelter, advocacy, and education. $8000
Lake Waccamaw Boys and Girls Home (LWBGH) To support the home and the needs of the children who live there including after school tutoring, emergency clothing and foster are training/certification. $1000
Lower Cape Fear Lifecare Dedicated to providing access to the highest quality Lifecare, education and supportive services to patients, their families and the communities they serve. $500
Matthew’s Ministry To help provide food to students in 13 Brunswick County schools through the weekend backpack program. $3000
New Hope Clinic Provides medical care for uninsured or low income families in Brunswick County. $12,500

Samara’s Village Our mission is to educate, equip and empower pregnant and parenting adolescents and their families to raise healthy babies. $500
Sea Biscuit: Wildlife Shelter All volunteer organization dedicated to providing treatment for injured or sick birds. $4000
Smart Start of Brunswick County We work to ensure that ALL children in Brunswick County, birth to age five, are happy, healthy, and ready for school. $1000
Southport-Oak Island Interfaith Fellowship Food Pantry (SOIICF) Providing food to those in need. $8500
Stepping up for the Arts Supports fine arts education program and supplies to art students in Brunswick County. $1500
Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry (WARM) They serve low income homeowners in Brunswick, New Hanover, Onslow, and Pender counties, many of whom are elderly or disabled. By preventing home accidents and illnesses, WARM helps people age in place safely, preserving their dignity and independence. $2000
Waves 4 Kids The mission of WAVES 4 K.I.D.S. is to support children under the care of the Department of Social Services, or other K.I.D.S. (Kids In Difficult Situations) in Brunswick County. $5000
